I bought this product with one thing in mind . . . keeping my feet warm. I predominately sleep in a hammock when I go camping and I hammock camp 12 months out of the year. I sleep relatively warm except for my feet. They stay cold. I bought the Hotpocket to remedy that situation. I used it when I first got in my hammock. It was around 45 degrees Fahrenheit. I warmed my feet up. Turned it off and went to sleep. Well, it got down to 34 degrees Fahrenheit before the night was over and the Hotpocket did its job. I woke up in the middle of the night with cold feet. I zipped it up, turned it on and slide my feet into the pocket. No more cold feet! I turned it off and went back to sleep. I also used it while I was opened and on my lap while relaxing in my chair before I got a fire going. I can see several other uses for this product as well. Hopefully, I will never have to buy disposable warmers again (environmentally friendly). The Hotpocket is incredibly light, but the battery is not. I do not think I will take it backpacking unless it is a short trip and weight is not much of an issue. The quality seems good. I like that I can store the battery and the cords in the little pocket at the end of the product. I recommend watching the instructional videos. They were helpful.
